Photographers have successfully used Kart-a-Bag products for 12 years to move their cases, tripods, umbrellas and step ladders. Their favorite units are the Super 600 and Tri-Kart 800 which both carry 300 lbs.
With the introduction of the Kartmaster HD500S, many "old timers" who have exceeded the 300 lb. load limit, who wanted built in shock absorbers for their digital equipment, and who needed a work site when they arrived at a location have switched over to using the Kartmaster HD500S. The Kartmaster HD500S can carry 500 lbs. in either an upright hand truck position or in the flat bed mode and has two auxiliary shelves. The top shelf is designed to carry 200 lbs. The hand truck has rear wheel brakes so that when the
table is placed, it can be locked into place. Due to the telescoping nature of the design, the hand truck becomes very compact - fitting easily into a van or car already loaded with cases. The shelves fold to fit the hand truck storage size.
Those who have to travel on planes which have little or no space for carry-on baggage use either the Tri-Kart 750 or the Concorde III, both of which fold to fit under an airline seat.
With its four wheel design, the Tri-Kart 750 can push or pull 250 lbs. to a location site. The auxiliary platform with two wheels can be locked in its folded position to go up and down curbs and stairs or on escalators.
Photographers who fly on inter-island planes which have very little storage space, prefer to use the Concorde III due to its very compact and light weight storage weight of 6 lbs. It can carry 150 lbs. of equipment and luggage.
All units carry a 10 year limited warranty.
The Concorde series of double rod, telescoping
models is designed to carry from 150 to 220 lbs. while still folding to compact storage sizes weighing from 5-8 lbs.
